S2000 2002 sports package help
What is the difference between a regular S2000 2002 and a S2000 2002 with a sports package?
My friend is about to buy a S2000 2002 with a sports package. I have searched honda-tech, google, and wikipedia to no avail. Thank you for your help.

that would lower the value of it
No such thing as a "sports package". all interiors are the same..nothing added, switched, etc. maybe Headrest speakers or an ashtray or nets in the back of the seat but those are accessories.

To confirm the above, the 2002 model year (and all model years except for 2008) have no additional trims available. The dealer can easily write "sport package" on the invoice and have it stand for some OEM body pieces, aftermarket wheels, etc.
Have your friend look into this carefully to find out exactly what this so-called Sport Package is. It's most likely just a front lip and side strakes, as mentioned above. Just FYI, a lip costs $343 painted and it's VERY easy to install yourself. The side strakes are about $300+. Hopefully the dealer didn't add on another $1000+ for this stuff.
