Default New throttle body gasket, but now it leaks?

I recently changed my throttle body gasket, but now on the upper part of the mating surfaces it isn't sealing well. There's a hissing noise and I originally had about a 2000 RPM idle on startup. I tightened the bolts down more (can't go any tighter at this point) and now have a 1500 RPM idle. However, I can get the idle down to 1100 RPM after putting duct tape over the leak. Bare in mind my AC compressor and PS pump are not being driven at the moment so that's probably aiding the high idle, but how do I fix this leak? And just so you know, I didn't have this problem before replacing the gasket.

did you make sure to scrape all of the old gasket off of both the throttle body and the intake manifold? I'm not sure why else it would leak, but you can also hondabond it instead of the gasket.

Yeah, both surfaces were cleaned. Hondabond was one thing I was considering so I guess I'll try that. Thanks.
