I have a 00 Si, with bolt ons and a CTR Intake Cam.

I was just wondering what difference I would see if I also had the CTR ex cam. I'm just running the stock b16 ex cam right now. Would it make a big dif in power? Would VTEC be louder? Any info appreciated.

 

The exhaust cam is the same as the ITR exhaust cam. It wouldn't make your VTEC louder.

 

Well how does the CTR or ITR cam match up to my stock si b16 cam?

The CTR/ITR cam has a higher lift and duration compared to the B16 cam.

okay.. so back to my original question.. If I upgrade my si exhaust cam to the CTR exhaust cam, what differences will I see?

More exhaust gases will be allowed to escape which will open more room for fuel/air. You'll gain more with having CTR in/ex cams than just the intake cam.

 

will vtec be louder?
