The car was moded to OBD1 and i got a cheap 1.5L to put in there right now just to get it to run. But when im at low RPM and give it a lil gas the motor shakes like there is a monkey in there going wild. I know wierd! but just need a lil direction in order to fix it. here is some pics!!!!

i know what your talking about. My whole car shakes somewhere between 1.5-2 but at like 3 it runs smooth. I don't have an exact answer, but i think mines is like that because my exhaust pipe is sitting on the lca.

Tune-up needed maybe?

My brother's CX ran rough under 3000rpm when he first got it. After a tune up(cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, oil change, etc.) it ran much better.

I would almost definately fix the problem with the mount before resorting to all the tune up stuff, which could be costly.. and you would still have a broken engine mount.

Yeah my rear tranny mount is torn and it does that, when you cruise around and press the gas pedal, you feel the motor hop and the dashboard pops up lol.

An insert kit is 30-40$ from Energy suspension IIRC. Worth giving it a try. Tune up is always a good idea either way when you buy a new car, unless you know the stuff is fairly new.
