is there a way to take off the glass housing on a headlight to clean the inside?
if so how? i know there is metal clips u push to the side but still didnt come off.
is there glue holding it? how to i take it off? and what do you suggest i use to leave inside looking new or better thanks?

yes, take all plastic and the metal clips off the light so that you can heat it up in your oven, put it on a low setting 150-200 degree range, you might just throw it in while it warms up. I dont think it needs to get too hot, be warned you may damage it if the temp is too high.
once the glue holding the glass on heats up you can pry it off by hand( with oven mitts).
then clean the glue out of the groove and reseal it with silicone (after you clean it of coarse) and make sure to let the glue fully dry. Regaurding cleaning I dont know whats best but the crome coating can chip off easily, so be gentle with it. I looked into crome paints for a little touch up but I couldnt find anything as reflective as the oem coating. if its rusted inside the housing there might be a piece of rusty metal inside, clean that up if so.
