Main Relay?
So i have a 99 ex with an obd1 JDM B16A i have the jumper harness using the ex engine harness and so on and so forth. The car is getting spark and plenty of fuel pressure, compression is superb and the fuel pump is working. I read that on the main relay when you turn the key on it should click 3 times. It only clicks twice. Would this cause the car not to start? if so do i just replace it or is there anything else i should trouble shoot first?

if the main relay is clicking, then you are fine. i've never heard about it clicking 3 times, mine only clicks once. if you can hear the pump prime and it's working, then the relay is fine.
your starting proplem is somewhere else.

I read that the relay is to click 3 times, mine clicks twice now. When you go to start the car the relay just clicks repeatedly the entire time you are turning the car over.

1. Its only supposed to click once.
2. Does the motor completely turn over? Generally when the main relay acts like that the battery does not have enough juice to get the starter going.

yes the motor does turn over. we found out the relay is not bad by switching it out with another and it does the same thing. It just clicks when you turn the key to accessory on. when the car is running it runs very rich and loads up at low rpm's but once you get it up in the rpm's and get it passed that it clears itself out and runs ok.

you should try replacing the pcv valve. the idle acts up when this is clogged.
also, do you have any CEL? maybe you O2 sensor is about to check out.

The car is throwing no CEL at all and the O2 is brand new i replaced it during the swap. What would be causing the relay to not be getting enough voltage? I switched out the injector clips on the obd2 harness with obd1 clips ... do you have to have a resistor box for stock injectors?
hmm... I had the same problem in my EF. It turned out I had the wrong distributor. Try a dizzy of a car that runs, see how that goes.
I wasnt throwing any codes either.

Yes. Like I said, I had the EXACT same problem. I hydrolocked the motor with fuel. (I have an AWESOME story about that too)

Did you try another distributor? Or are you just doubting yours is wrong/bad?
