v2 is junk.

you're much better off with your stock airbox, drop in k&n and a knockoff spoon snorkle.

The weird thing is that it looks as if the stock pipe would fit. I just took my stock pipe out to the car and looked and it looks like the right length but Im not sure if its the right diameter. but it looks like it will work.

?? what is your reasoning behind this? besides the possibility of hydrolock if you are a moron and/or you aren't using the bypass, it is the highest power gains per $ intake out there.

um no. my way is highest power gains per $ for any intake. knock off snorkle...$30, drop in k&n 8 bucks... makes just as much power as the aem...

i was under the assumption that the o.p. needed some way to make an ARC intake work without the secondary ARC chamber. I would assume he has bought one without it or found a good deal on one that is missing this piece, hence the question "can it work with something else other then the ARC piece?" So I am not sure what you are confused about Techno. I do agree that the intake setup that you recommended would be by far the most bang for the buck, but some people like to have a little bling under the hood. Like myself.

my stock intake box is killed the previous owner decided to paint it so theres no way in hell it well go back in and as for the v2 i loved my old one id leave it if it wasnt creamed from my wreck and for the money id take the v2 over a knock off snorkel and k&n that normaly cost 70 bucks everywhere ive looked
