Default Mishimoto intake!

when i look at this intake, it reminds of of the GruppeM intake. i wonder how it performs...

has any of you guys tried it yet? does anybody know if the piping is 3" or how big the opening is to the heat shield?

Looks like more over priced **** to me... At least the Mugen intake makes power. I don't see how that will make anymore power than a regular eBay short ram.

Why is the heatshield shaped like that? At first I was thinking it was to go behind a removed headlight, but after closer examination even that seems pretty far-fetched.

Mishimoto is a knockoff of a knockoff of a knockoff. I wonder if they even did any R&D?

Could be another stupid chinese knockoff, especially some blue mesh filter.

Is the intake in the photo even for the DC2 application?

The heat shield looks as if it's intended to seal against some part of the engine bay, but I can't see how this particular shape would work in that capacity on a DC2.
