nitrous idea. lmk what you think
ok so i got a dry kit that i want to run on my lsvtec i got going on right now. i was thinking around a 50-70 shot and this is my idea to make it a little more reliable. basicly have a dry kit setup normaly with a throttle shitch. buy a safc to correct fuel at 90% throttle and set the fuel to positve 10 across the whole rpm range. that way as soon as i hit nitrous or right before i will have more fuel to add and it will kinda be like a wet kit. lmk if you think anything of it.
So between adding nitrous and adding extra fuel you now have tons of potential for power generation but no answer for adding more air to actually achieve that power.
Honestly, a stock lsvtec is more than capable of supporting a 50-shot. A 70-shot may be pushing it on a stock fuel system but it's not impossible. You wouldn't want to run more than 10-15 second bursts on a 70-shot. I would DEFINITELY invest in an air/fuel gauge though. IF you run lean THEN invest in the SAFC and only richen the fuel where you need it the most and ONLY as much as is needed to avoid rich/lean conditions. Running rich ruins spark plugs (and o2 sensors) but running lean will cost you a motor.
