Greddy SP2 Exhaust
Just brought a 90'CRX HF with a loud annoying UNKNOWN band exhaust on it. thinking about switch to Greddy SP2 something that is quiet.
I found this on Optionsimports for $468.93. the problem is it says for 88-91 CRX Si, mine is HF. will it still fit?

The application list is assuming you have a stock motor with a stock cat.
The HF exhaust manifold was different than the SI. If you have the original HF exhaust set up it will not work because honda made the HF with the cast manifold that bolts to a square cat before the downpipe. The o2 sensor was right on top.
The si had the exhaust manifold, the down pipe, then the cat.
THIS DIFFERENCE of the cat back not bolting up is lenth. The contours are the same.

I have B16 with Greddy header in it. is there anyway I can get the full SP exhaust that'll just bolt right on?
sorry for asking stupid question
but I never own any CRXs before don't know anything about it.

alscrx is referring to the stock exhaust system on an HF.
if you have a b16 with a header, it should bolt up.
the exhaust hanger locations are the same between trim levels, just the hF had a different length on the exhuast manifold stock.
i have an RS*R full catback designed for crx si's on my 88hf becuase the motor was swapped for a d16a6.
long story short, get the exhaust you want, it'll work.

There is no way in hell to tell if that is an HF or not from that pic.
Everything from 88-91 is interchangeable between models .........other than the
exhaust manifold/cat converter mentioned above......

from what i can gather it's a CRX. i could be wrong. hehehe

We need better pics.....HF's have different steering wheels, gauge clusters, etc....get us pics of that. But like said before, all that stuff could have been changed...

I think that crx in the picture looks more like an DX model.
From the back passenger side black triangle piece right above the tailight doesn't say HF and also there's a windshield wiper on the back hatch.
I dunno because it could be different parts and not original pieces that came with the car originally.

the LCA's are different on 88's than every model after(89-91)... also the doors, corner lights and other minor parts.

hes right... HF didnt have a rear wiper. if we had a look at the under-chassis and roof of the car in that pic, we could be of more help as far as year and trim... any one could take the badge off the rear triangle glass so that wont always solve the question as far as trim. originally, DX's never has a decal there, HF's say HF and Si's say Si.
...oh and yeah, that exhaust will fit. any differences can be resolved with the right size test pipe/cat.
