Hey, I'm installing an amp in a 2001 civic and want to know if the stock deck has audio out or if I need a new deck. Also, is there anything integrated into the stock deck (ie airbags)? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Doing the install tomorrow?

 

This has been discussed literally hundreds of times. No, your stock deck does not have "audio outs". You will need a line out converter to connect an amp to the factory deck, provided the amp doesn't have speaker-level inputs (although I wouldn't recommend using them anyways; a line out converter will produce better sound quality; not quite as good as a new deck, but better than speaker-level inputs.)

No, there are no other functions integrated into your radio.

And I would have thought that someone here for 7 months would know how to use the search function.
