Light bulb code?

i'm looking to get some Hella bulbs for my reflector housings on my 96 civic... the guy asked me for some sort of light code... ex he gave me: 9004-9007 etc... what is it or whats the difference? lol

Your bulb type is H4 (aka 9003).

Yep. 9003 is the number used in the US. H4 is used in Europe.

If you look at one of the bulbs, it usually lists both numbers on the metal on the base of the bulb.
