Default Head gasket let go

So I ran into my first problem with my accord. The head gasket let go on it today. There is water in my oil and it wouldnt idle, along with the temp was really high. I am going to pull the head tomarrow and then get it to a machine shop to get it flat this coming week. Then hopefully put it back on the weekend after next. I was curious if anyone has changed their head gasket? What else should I change while in there? Its a 95 accord sohc. Its just a daily and dont care about performance and just want it back up and going. Any sugestions and help would be apriciated.

Thanks
Coop
