Default Quarter Mile

Whats a 94-01 integra gs-r run it in stock, or with i/h/e. My friend ran a 15.4 with i/h/e, thought that was kinda slow, maybe not.

ive seen better, but thats not bad, there are more factors involved like track conditions, the cars condition/mileage, and driver skill

the i/h/e part is useless if you dont tune. maybe after a tune you can get in the 14's or even the 13's...

Get the most possible power out of the mods on the car.

You don't know what tuning is?

You are going to need to search, but you will prolly not want to do it yourself. It is complicated.

I'll give you 14's but there is no way he's hitting 13's unless the car is a completely stripped EG or EF on slicks launching from redline....

Thats why the button is RED. To put it simple tunning is just making you have a perfect air fuel ratio throughout the rpms.

I've seen stock gsr's run 14.5 and I've seen them run 16.5. There are SOOOO many variables its not even funny 15.4 isnt slow for a gsr, most i've seen run in the 15.0-15.5 range.

my best was 15 flat with a bone stock engine, no bolt-ons whatsoever, and H&R/Koni suspension w/ junk@$$ tires.

Is the car even worth tuning with i/h/e? Found a place that will do it for 550 including the neptune module.

nah, don't even worry about it with bolt-ons. Tuning isn't really worth it until you start changing cam shafts and valvetrain, maybe with a higher-flowing intake manifold and adjustable cam gears. At the point you could have tuning done on a dyno and gain probably 10-15 whp just from tuning alone, in addition to your gains from the parts in the engine.

Evans?

If you feel that 550 is worth the 20 hp gain, then go for it

It will probably be more reliable after a tune.

Running a fast time is more than just power. There are variables like traction, gearing, powerband, and weight to consider. A completely stripped-to-nothing EG with a B16 could possibly run those times IF EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. His 60' times would have to be stellar and the car would have be nearly out of useable powerband/gearing in order to extract every last tenth of a second out of it.

We're not arguing "can it be done" but is it practical for a stock XX Chassis to run XX times...

the best i could run in my 95 gsr with i/h/e is 15.0 flat as well. with my gf's 00 gsr the best i could run is a 15.3. so ya i guess i would agree 15.0-15.5 is the norm for a basic bolt on stock gsr.
