so... my rear defroster is ruined. at first i thought it was just a fuse or something but upon closer inspection i found that the previous owner removed the tint and in the process also the grid...

so should i buy a new rear glass or lots of "grid repair kits" and try to fix it?

there's some kind of conductive paint that you can use, ask any electrical/automotive store for this purpose.

huh, then a new rear windsheild must be replaced. go to your local junkyard maybe you can find from wreckage.

I'd, personally, have the window replaced at that point.
