Hi. Newbie here... I'm not too keen with the Honda world, so I'd like to know a few information regarding my.. well, girlfriend's vehicle. She has a '91 crx si and it was stolen recently. It was retrieved with some parts stripped (cai, strut bar, wheels, etc etc).

Anyway, I'd like to know if some of the parts are interchangeable with other chassis hondas (ie: ek, eg). I know parts from an EF will fit, but those are hard to find for some reason.

For an example, would a strut bar from an EK fit into the crx?

Any information would help a lot. thanks!

not sure where you are looking but EF parts are simple to get! keep searching!!!!!!! not many parts intechange that you will need! and im pretty sure no strut bars interchange because the ek and eg are integra front ends that are modified for civic! thats why a b-series motor fits them sooooo well.

I've been looking at local ads (recycler, craigslist) recently because she's driving approximately 1000 miles to get back home during the winter vacation (a little over a week), and back here for school. Just need some standard parts to get her on the road... but then again, she drives like a maniac.

Can you direct me where I can find some EF parts, other than the HTmarketplace? I can't post there yet.

 

The intakes and front strut bars from the 90-93 integra are useable on the crx

i have 15 inch rims from a 2002 ek hatch on my crx.

almost all civics, crx's and del sols have a 4x100 lug pattern.

so they all match up.

get a short ram intake generic brand off ebay, for like 20 bucks. as said above the strut bar from a DA teg can be used.

keep checking the marketplace, youll find the parts you need.

 

Most DA part will definately work, you just gotta know exactly what part your trying to replace. Good question too.
