My seats have tears in them an want to replac them. What would be a good stock seat without a lot of work? DEL SOL? heard the integra ones are a pain. Still new to the forums, did a search, couldnt find anything. If i missed a post or two, please sent the link.

what year 88-89 the rails are reallly close and harder to put some seats in.90-91 are futher apart and easier to put other seats in. I have a friend with a 91 civic HB with 92 civic seats very easy install. I have heard the 90-93 teg seats go in pretty damn easy. Yoou could always just find a set of SI seats for your car.

 

90-93 integra LS seats go in fairly easy

 

hey CivicboyZC i need some info on installing htese seats. i have a set of 91 teg seats. only one bolt lines up, and i have a few othere questions...hit me on AIM.

 

I put in 2000 civic si seats they suck but my friend gave them to me. And I have to get my stock driver seat fixed it has a rip in it. Some people said they don't fit, they fit. Not as much support as they stock one's but it was free so who cares.

 

So the 2000 SI seats drop right in or did you have to drill?

No seats drop right in.

I put '93 integra seats in my '88 CRX and I had to make 6 mounting brackets because only 1 of the holes on each seat lined up.

And they sit SO HIGH. I'm 5'8" and my head almost hits the roof with them!

I have since purchased del sol seats (much better).

Thanks for the info and the pics, i guess ill have to stay with stock seats for now. was it hard to put in the DEL SOL seats? maybe re-upholstering is an option. kind of expensive tho.

The del sol seats fit a lot better than the 90-93, but the 88-89 chassis has narrow seat rails... so you still need to fabricate mounting brackets for them to bolt in.

But they sit at stock seat height, which is

del sol seats also look way better, and are more comfortable

 

I have Gen 2 Integra seats in my hatch and they do NOT I repeat do not go in easy. I needed to swap brackets, drill some holes, use spacers etc, it wasnt easy. I bought them because someone told me they drop in with no fabrication....HAHA what a joke that was. Im trying to get my hands on some matching rear seats for my hatch. I also heard they can be mounted well see

 

Oh yeah Dustin my seats dont sit high at all. Maybe its because I have a Civic though, it might be less then a half inch higher then stock

 

dustin, flip the passengers and rivers around then 3 mounting points line up w/ stock then your only drilling 1 hole for each seat. yeah they sit too high mine are coming out, crx si seats going in

 

yeah then the lumbar thing is on the wrong side on the wrong seat hehe.

 

Would this be the same for 2000 civic EX seats in a 91 SI hatch? My buddy got a good deal for them and just wants to make sure it's the same with EX seats as with
integra seats thanks

I have some del sol seats black with silver stripe. The drivers side already welded on 89-91 seat rails, so drop right in. They fit perfect too, no tilting or anything. It does have one small burn in the seat. I didn't have time to get the passenger seat done which is in mint condition, the original rails are on it, but you can look at the drivers side to see what needs to be done. i was going to pick some up from my buddy but my friend out bid me. least im getting his old crx si seats for free

 

i have 95 gsr seats in my hatch. went in without a hitch.

 

I put in 95 civic ex seats in my old 88 crx, they sat and looked alright, but they didnt bolt up. Make sure you get them mounted good.
I have the stock seats (si"s) in my crx, they are awesome! No problems whatsoever about mounting, how they sit, because they were made for the car.
Also, my friend has 98civic seats in his crx, and they fit like crap. They are way to tall!
Id go with the stock si seats. They even look better than the newer seats imo.
