Went over to DSR in San Jose to get my car tuned. They did an excellent job and it was very fun. Hearing my baby scream her way to redline from outside the car was pretty awesome...and a bit scary. Well, here is the dyno (red = baseline, blue = current settings):


As you can see, I sacrificed a bit of peak for more area under the curve, all the in the meat of the powerband between 5,000 and 6,000 rpm. Plus, the car idles a lot better now. Gears are at +3/-1 and the fuel is at 40 psi at WOT. Overall, I'm very happy with the numbers, I was pleasantly surprised.

Here's my setup:
dc sports 4-2-1 header, aem cai, custom 2.25" exhaust, carsound cat, removed ps belt, crower 62403 cams, aem cam gears, B&M fpr.

Pretty cool. Making about what my 96 GSR is putting down, and with a more useable power band.

 

Nice peak numbers (especially the torque), but the torque curve falls hard in between 4.5k and 5.0k rpm.

Any baseline runs?

 

he's right........i wonder why there is a dip between 4.5k and 5krpm?

 

the a/f is most likely the problem in that area. I'm guessing he's running rich there

 

How long and How much did it cost? I'll probly be goin to DSR to get my Cams, Cam Gears and VAFC tuned...

 

Wow...very nice. With only those mods, you have a very good dyno. Both the hp and tq are very impressive!

Thanx for all the congrats guys. The session costed $185 (hourly rate). I would definitely recommend DSR to other people. The guy who tuned my car has a race-ready Integ that has run an 11.5 all motor. He knows what he's doing.

 

it only took 1 hour? thats cool. sometimes, it takes more than an hour for them to tune.

 

Those are great numbers for a G2 teg non-vtec. Keep it up, enjoy

And I think he is drivin a 1990-1991 LS which had 12 less Hp then later models. Big Ups for G2 Integrity.

wow that is some impressive torque! nice #'s thats what a GSR with I/H/E puts down but with much more torque
