I was looking at my membership card and licence today and saw that I need to reup my cards. So I called NHRA and asked if I still need to be a member to compete in there half associated series next year. They said yes you still will be required to show your NHRA credentials to race there NHRA/NOPI events. I just thought I'd share.

did you clarify if it was necessary on all levels? as in, i wonder if they assumed you meant 9 sec credentials, etc.

but i wouldnt doubt anything would change this year with having to buy a membership this season too.

 

If you want to get points you need to have a NHRA membership.

 

And it isn't like buying an EXTRA membership. You are just buying an NHRA membership instead of a Nopi membership.
