clutch ? $ integra

My friend has a 1990 integra. When you step on the clutch and let it go the clutch pedal return slowly. He has just replace a new clutch. What can this be?

hydraulic or cable clutch...

check the tension on the cable. if its coming up slow it has to be a issue with the cable. This is all supposing its the stock tranny tho.
