Towing a dirtbike single trailer with a dx hatch?

Default Towing a dirtbike single trailer with a dx hatch?

Has anyone ever towed with a civic hatch? I have a stock d15 and woner if towing my dirtbike is a possibility.

Not mine btw, but I imagine that big bike is probly similar weight to a lieghtweight dirtbike right?

it'll work but depends on terrain, clutch life, etc.

i did well with a d16z6 and 4g si tranny in my 91 hatch. towed a 5x8' trailer cross country with 1500-2000lbs in the trailer + had a loaded car.

yes, i towed a cbr 929rr cross country and also full size jet ski around town with a HF crx so you can do it.

I have towed ton's of times with EF9's! I tried a boat like above once, just cause I needed to move it a few blocks, I turned around a block into it because I was afraid of what I was doing to the chassis... But yeah, I have towed a Raptor and a KTM on one of those 4 by 8 trailers many times, even over the pass, and still averaged 33mpg..

The hitch I had was a draw-tite, I need to find another one now actually as I picked up another EF9..

Yeah you can, theres a guy where I live that tows around a Banshee on a 4X8 trailor out to the sand dunes with a Std hatchback
