There is a search feature, or google, or yahoo or any search engine...
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/differential4.htm This should answer your questions. LSD is a big plus in my book, it aids in launching from a dead stop and also in wet weather.

lol yeah type in lsd in any search engine and watch how much worthless **** that has nothing to do with a car comes up. type it in on h-t and watch how much stuff comes up talking about stuff involving it yet not explaining what it does or is. now im sorta confused because on password jdm.com a non lsd gsr and an lsd gsr cost exactly the same so does this mean i might as well buy the lsd for my 92 da since you say its better or do i need to purchase one or the other compared to if my da is lsd or nonlsd? i know nothing about lsd which is why im so confused right now

You'll want to get an LSD version if at all possible.

I drove my g2 teg for years and then drove a crx with an LSD lsvtec turbocharged etc etc. The difference between LSD and non LSD trans was night and day for grip, cornering, etc. Go for LSD.
