*UPDATE*
Car is in a Fontana tow yard.
"Stripped of various parts"
Dont know where it was originaly found.
Dont know what kind of condition it is in.
But i do do know the car has been in the tow yard for 15 days.
And seeing as how i have been out of state with no phone
i didnt get the call till today,
i have to pay a $785 dollar fee to get it out of tow.

Alarm and remote pager.
I got out of the shower and the pager was beeping.
I wasnt worried cause loud exhausts will set it off sometimes.
So i hit the unlock button and to turn it off and it said "out of range"
My heart started beating fast.

I threw some pants on and ran outside.
I was greeted by a empty parking spot.
My heart sank.
Ive never felt that way before.

I jumped in my girls car, called the cops,and drove around for awhile before i gave up....

I just moved into these apts 3 days ago...

Sad ******* story man, sounds like you had your **** together.

Hopefully they catch the *******, and you can at least get money back if not the whole vehicle.

 

Well turns out the apartment has cameras at every entrance and exit.
I went in and asked to review the tapes.
The lady told me they were on a 48 hr loop, but she didn't know how to use them.
She said she would call a tech to review the tapes.
Turns out she had a ****** maintenance guy look at them.
She said he didn't see any thing.

At this point im pretty pissed.
"he looked through all the tapes and didn't see my car leave?
What did the thieves use, a ****** helicopter?"

I called the police and asked for the officer assigned to my case.
He worked the night shift so she sent him a E-Mail.
E-mail? wtf?
So he never calls me back.
I call again the next day and she sends him another message.
He calls me back at 11:58pm.

I tell him how they have the tapes but wont let me look at them,
so he should come down and check them out.
I also tell him that the tapes are about to be wiped.
He tells me he is on his way.
I never get a call back.

 

sorry for your misfortune man, thieves sucks...but maybe next time aroun you may want to install some type of fuel shut off switch hidden of course. i will do this to mine whenever i get off my lazy ***, this will be in conjunction with a alarm and a club. but not too much worried cause my car resides in the garage. good luck in getting it back. nice whip by the way..

Sorry to hear about the bad news bro...i had the same thing happen to me but all they stole was my stereo system and ditched my car on the 91 fwy..out of curiosity i was wondering what is the color of your car and if you had the paint code because i was looking to paint my rex a similar color......hopefully your ride turns up and like the previous poster said if i were to find it i wouldnt even want the reward money cuz ive been in the same situation and its the most helpless feeling in the world...all your blood sweat and tears has just been taken from you in less than 5 mins...F*ck thieves they should have their hands chopped off like they do in the middle east.....but good luck and ill keep an eye out here in the 626

Sorry to hear this. I know that exact feeling though. They stole our clean 80's Chevy truck the day we forgot to put it in our driveway.

I felt so helpless and was driving around everywhere after calling the cops.

Hope you find it and they catch the ******* thieves.

 

THATS JUSS CRAZY MAN such a clean rex...ive nevva had a car stolen but man i dnt even wanna know how it feels...when my car is back on the road steering wheel and ecu with jumper harness is comin out everynite...

I have another car already. same make, model, new color.
All stock. Ripped seats, rusty sunroof. everything else is clean.

I want my baby back but im not expecting anything.
