Default Body-Roll on Coilovers

I need some expert opinions.

I just recently lowered my car some more on my Progress Coilovers and I also installed a camber kit.

Everything seemed fine and dandy until I started making some passes on a local course. I've noticed that, despite the fact that my car is at the same height in the rear on both sides, I'm getting some fender/tire rub on the passenger side.

I don't know of many rear shocks blowing but I checked anyway and can't find any leaks or anything. Everything seems to be installed correctly and I don't know why it is that it seems the right rear end is just a little softer than the rest of the corners.

Anyone know what this could be?

I'll post pictures up later if needed.

does it have dampening features? what are the spring rates on the progressive springs on the coilovers? just because you got coilovers doesnt mean the car will magically handle well... ive raised and lowered my car about every 3 weeks since i got them a couple months ago to try and figure out what height i like.

There is no dampening adustability.
I've had them on for a while and didn't have them lowered much.

They handled like champs. And I think the spring rates are something like 10kg/mm front and 12kg/mm in the rear.

the left side of your car is heavier than the right side of the car so that might have something to do with it. are they new? if they are, did they just happen to change on you or did they feel like this ever since you put them on?

I'm assuming you did NOT get an alignment and you did it yourself or eye balled it. Once you get an alignment you might rub on both sides. What wheels (diameter and offset specifically)? I had to roll my quarter panels.

ya know when i poped my jic's on i caught the hub assembly with a jack and it never really moved except up when i bolted it in, and my alignment wasnt off at all, kinda crazy i know but, why get coil overs if your not ganna drop your car, i mean i didnt lower to the floor....just made it a respectable hight expecially that back end of ours.....it's mighty high, are you running stock tires? or whats your tire size....it could be tirewall role....

You're right, no alignment... didn't feel the urge to get one seeing as how my steering felt fine... I guess that was poor judgement on my part.

wheels are FN01RC 16X7 +38 offset I think... 205/16/50

I guess to the alignment shop I shall go.

Give yourself a little extra neg camber on the side that is rubbing in the meantime.

Whenever you fiddle with suspension components you should get an alignment.

Yeah, thanks guys I'll be taking her in hopefully by the time the weekend is over.

I feel foolish for having overlooked something so basic.

Get a lifetime alignment plan, not a one time only.

I have a lifetime at big O tires. $200. I can say probably my first 6 were good. After that i hate their alighnment. I took my car there and on the way back my steering wheel vibrates like hell when I brake at around 60 mph. my car pulls right when i gas or when i let the steering wheel go on flat ground it pulls right.

Mine at Tires Plus was $140 with a coupon. No complaints.
