Default 2000 Honda Accord Coupe Wierd Problem...

I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe 5-Speed. It has 105,000 miles on it, here are the mods I have....

AEM Short Ram Intake
Accel 8mm Plug Wires
NGK Plugs
2.25" Catback Exhaust System

Heres is my problem. About a week ago I noticed under heavy acceleration the car would feel underpowered(like it was only using half power). Sometimes during heavy acceleration it would feel underpowerd up until 4,000rpm then it would kick into full power until it hits the rev limiter. Sometimes(at random, doesn't matter whether the engine is hot or cold) the car would hit 4,000rpm and it would act as if it was bouncing off the rev limiter and not go further than 4,000rpm. Now if I drive the car like a grandma I notice no problems whatsoever. Just 3 days ago the check engine light came on and I hooked up an OBD II code checker to it and its giving me the code: "P1259" Manufacturer Controlled Fuel and Air Metering. I was curious if any of you guys knew possible what the problem could be. I appreciate any response!

the 4000 rpm rev-limiter is usually a vtec problem, i.e. not enough oil pressure. have you checked the oil level?

I'll give that a shot, I'm due for an oil change as well. Thanks for the quick response. Any other ideas would be apprecaited!

well that was my problem man! I found out I had low oil, which in turn gave low oil pressure. I also discovered I have a slow oil leak. I changed the oil and the oil filter reset the OBD II trouble code. And all is well! Now to fix that oil leak

Thanks again for your help man!
