lifetime of an o2 sensor & will a leaky exhaust cause an 02 sensor heater failure?
Im using an 8 year old o2 sensor, which was used for about 4 years. Im broke, and ill buy a new one if needed, but im using an obd2 cat on my 95 gsr with the main 02 sensor in the header plug and the rear cat hole is just open. Would the leaks cause that cell to light up (Cell #41). Any help would be appreciated.

Bad 02 sensor or wiring, it should not throw the heater code even if it's hanging in free air.
