Default AC Compressor Bracket

Hey guys,
I have a 88 CRX with a fresh JDM D15B2 motor. I have been fighting a "shaky" motor for about a year now. I can actually see the motor moving and my steering wheel shakes at idle. One mechanic thinks its my crankshaft pulley, but another says the pulley is fine. The car is tuned...New O2, PCV, valve adjustment, MPFI swap. I just pulled the intake manifold and cleaned everything including the injectors. NO CEL's. It still shakes.

I had someone do the swap for me and I supplied 4 new motor mounts. My AC system was not working when I did the swap, so I told the guy to remove all the AC crap. I notice the AC compressor bracket is not there and I have read this is an important torque mount. Could this be causing my shakes? Something feels "unstable" when I am driving too. The car wants to "wander" on the road. Do you think I found the problem?

What's your idle RPM? Bad motor mounts and low idle will cause pretty massive shaking at idle. Or does it happen during driving too? I don't have the AC bracket and my car idles fine...

My idle RPM is 750-800. I have a tach on my timing gun and it seems to stay pretty solid. The motor almost seems twisted a bit in the mounts. I can see this in the drivers side mount. I can push on the motor and watch it move a bit..Its like its not snug in the rubber. I bought the mounts on EBAY..I wonder if they are garbage?

These are what I have:

Yeah, get new motors mounts NOW. If you can push and move your motor like that, your motor mounts are really bad.

X2

I wouldn't trust anything less than OEM mounts (unless you're doing a swap).

Really guys? These things have less then 15K miles on them and are not worn. You think they are garbage? I wasted 150.00??

EDIT....I may be exaggerating a bit when I say its very sloppy...I can move the motor a little, but its not terrible. I can see the driver mount shake a bit in between the two mounting pieces.

These parts did not look crappy. They looked just like the OEM ones.

You really shouldn't be able to move the motor by hand... I'm not saying all of them are junk, but at least one is. They probably won't last as long as OEM either.

BTW, the A/C bracket doesn't mount to the frame for these motors like in later vehicles.
