Default adjustable cam gear

Hey guys I just got my hayame adjustable cam gear today adn im goin to put in on my sohc ZC i was wondering where i should run this at for best torque and power and ****

Let your tuner to the work. Althought it's a mechanically principal of overlapping almost anyone with a small degree of tuning can do it. Remember tho don't expect any gains until you hit a dyno for some tuning.

I would leave it at zero until then.

thats the thing tho im my own mechanic lol......its prolly goin to be a stock zc maybe ported and polished....nothin special and a homed out intake.....might have head shaved 14 thou or so....like im not to sure on how much u can get out of these thats all...

14 thou is alot to shave off. I'd check the CR on that one with a calc. A stock SOHC ZC won't yield much with just an adjustable cam gear.

U wont notice ****, i shaved 20thou off got flat faced valves and it didnt do ****, Then i installed an akmee cam and it finally satisfied me.

agreed. you wont notice much of a difference until you put a larger cam in it. Cam gears are pointless until you get a cam(s).
