that extra $45 was probably their beer money for the night, it's a hidden tax that you are rarely told about...oh well, did they do a good job with everything?

yea the guy was great. i think the manager freaking ripped me off not him. cuz it was the manager that punched up the numbers. the guy was cool tho, he had a mini the original ones. he said he ot it for $3k. and had it shipped for a grand. it looked sweet.

maybe its cuz I live in So Cal and theres a lot of shops/competition between shops.. so prices are lower.. I could have gotten all that for under $200...

4 wheel alignment ~$50
3 tire mount/dismount/disposal ~approx $12/tire.. total $36
install camber kit ~$80
oil change ~$20
total $186...

prices are approximate but definately possible...

i dont' want to be an ***, and i know a lot of people say it over and over again... but i'ma say it anyways....

the camber kit and oil change can be done really easily by yourself. just reserve a little bit of time and go at it slowly. best way to learn about your car and build up some confidence at going at it alone. you could've saved at least $100. just my opinion, that's all.

cheers.

yea i could have saved money if i called around more and did the oil changed myself. the reason y i went to this guy, was cuz he came in highly recommended. obviously i paid for the quilty of work. i would love to have done the camber myself, but i couldn't find anyone to help/teach me how to install it.

but the good news it that my car handles like a mother. i dropped my car 3 weeks ago, but i was still on my crappy car. knew that w/ my camber off, i'd be wasting my new tires. i was saving up for the camber kit. now that i have eveything in it, the car is great. falling in love w/ my teg all over again.
