41 cell code, installed ls headerback on my gsr, i had a fully welded test piped leak on it
Hey all, i just installed a ls exhaust on my gsr to pass emissions and to not sound like a piece of crap with the leaks and all. I have an obd2 cat on a 95 gsr, so i installed the o2 sensor in the port at the end of the header, and i have the 2nd port open still. i need to get something 18mm to fill it, and the bolts/nuts have no springs on em like oem standards. What im trying to get at is what is the possibility that the o2 sensor is faulty (from a 2000 ls), or because i didnt cap the holes, or bolt it up tight enough in the exhaust would that create it to turn on the cell? Can a cell turn on because of a leaky exhaust? Just wanna make sure before i go buy anything, b/c im CHEAP. btw, my exhaust before this had a welded in test pipe, so im not sure if the circuit even works or not. And i reset the ecu as well. Thanks all.
