hey guys, I need help, I'm going to increase the redline of my F22c, I want to increase the redline to 9,000 rpm...any ECU/ Engine tuning you guys know?...even just to 8,800rpm will do....Any help will be appreciated! tnx!!

why would you want to do this.

make sure you tune it with an ebay spoom chip

 

I will but from all the exxtra power i will need this high flow muffler its only 25 dollars on ebay JDM

damn you might as well get 2 with a y pipe

 

what about an "O" pipe im told you get alot of torque from that... I think we are onto some thing good

 

the O pipe will give you an O face

I know a couple s2k run ap1 ecu and but i don't know the long term effects cuz it might damage the motor

Dont know much about the AP's, but are there any differences in the AP2 jdm vs. AP2 us motors?? I have a best motoring vid where they compare AP1 vs. AP2, and the (jdm) AP2 redline was at 9k....Just my input

 

Yeah but isn't the JDM AP2 a 2.0 not a 2.2 hence the 9k redline?

jaypan didnt get the f22c til 06. but got all the same ap2 changes in 04 but still used the f20c. if you dont bounce off the revlimit with ap2's, you fall short out of vtec by 2-300 rpms. not a big deal if your a fast shifter.
