Default FG2, FA5 vs. FN2?

Hey guys, I was wondering how do you think our Fg2's or FA5's would hold up against the UK type R's? i know the FD2 smoked the FN2 on the track by a good amount time so i was thinking how would our SI's put up with the UK's type R's

I personaly think the FN will smoke the FA/FG just because it looks smaller. But then again I'm just a joe who think he knows what he's talking about but... lol Never the less, I'd root for FA/FG if they were competing.

looks smaller, but isn't. The FN still weighs ~2900lbs

The fd2 has a much better power to weight ratio. The FD2 has 11.7lbs per hp. So for each 1 hp it has to move 11.7 lbs. The fg2 has 13.9lbs per hp in stock form. The fn2 has the exact same power to weight as our cars. The fg2 has a better suspension setup than the uk type r. So in reality our cars are much closer to jdm civic than the uk version. We would have to lower our weight by about 150+ pounds and have at least 25 more hp at the crank as well as a better suspension package to compete with the jdm type r.

yeah don't our SI's have a better suspension setup? and LSD? so I'm thinking that our SI's would put up a good fight with the UK type R.

drop a little bit of weight off a FG2 and beef up the suspension a bit and it would be a good race.. the increase in horsepower isnt necessary but would be nice. i think usdm Si's would do quite well actually. id like to see what would happen head to head... anyone considering bringin a ukdm civic over? lol.

we're debating the difference between our cars, meanwhile in audi-land they have given up all hope of competing with imports and started pouring sand into their cars: http://www.audiforums.com/m_69...93578

Si should damn near beat the Type R. The R is over 2900 lbs. with only 1 more HP.
