Default RSX-S Leather Seats into 91 CRX-Si

I just got some leathers out of a wrecked RSX Type S. The front 2 bolts line up almost perfectly but the back 2 are about 4 or 5 inches short. I had to hack the angled mount in the back to allow the seats to sit level. Has anyone done this before and has some tips on how to? Im planning on fabbing some extensions to reach the original holes in the REX and welding them on to the tracks on the seats. Im relatively sure that this is the only way, but if anyone has any tips or specs on the peices that you fabbed, let me know please.

I've tried to do it, i cut out the original mounts for the seat and 2 original holes to fit onto bride seat brackets, but one mis calculation, the seats are way too high....don't waste your time just get bucket seats, or original crx seats,

I know the EP3 seats were a no no.....figured the rsx were the same

Sucks...someone should sell custom brackets for the ep3/rsx seats for the crx!

It will definitely work. I've got a great welder and the mounting holes aren't that far apart, but I just wanted to get some feedback and see if anyone else has done this. I'll post some pics up tomorrow to let you see where im at on the install. Also, I could use the the CRX seat rails but they are kinda rusted and I would rather have the newer RSX hardware in the car. It just works better.

I had them in my civic at one time. It's not a bolt in affair. Custom work with the rails are needed a friend of mine put them in for me. So i cant shed alot of light on how he did them. I dont think its worth the trouble they sit to high even with the adjustable height. like stated above keep stock or get some buckets. They look good though

i tired it with the rsx base fabrics and it rubbed my headliner, then again i do have a sunroof though.....your also gonna sit up a bit higher too as the padding on the seat is higher than the stock seats.....i ended up buying some buckets....worked out better...but if its what you want..then go for it

Pics will be up shortly. The bolt holes in the back are off by only inches. It is, however, going to take alot of measuring and guess work to get the angle needed to make the seats sit right. If i make the fabricated piece come straight off of the rail, it will make the seat much too high. It will also cause the seat to scrape the headliner when it is tilted forward. If I can keep in on the ground and weld the piece onto the top of the rail, with kind of an S curve, it will all sit right. Im fairly confident that it will work.

All pics are of driver side door.

Here you can see inside rails differ in length.

Here is the outside rail.

This is the piece that I hacked off. It came off at a 45 degree angle.

Like this.

Here you can see where the rail comes up a bit short.

If you look at the last pic, you can see the problem im having. I have to raise that side up a little less that an inch to make it level, but after i put a spacer underneath and the bracket to the mounting hole on the top, It should be perfect. I will probably only use 3 of the 4 holes however, but in this case function is going to take a back seat to form.(no pun intended)

If anybody knows where I can find the seatbelt reciever for these seats please PM.
