Default CTR 96-98 rear lip different than 99-00?

i came across this page online...am i bugging out or is this true? ive never seen this rear lip...looks linda cool with the large exhaust cut. and it says its authentic.

does anyone have this lip or have pics? considering it for my 98 hatch, over my current rear lip.

Taking a look at your link...it kinda looks like the OEM rear lip for the 96-98 coupe, not the hatchback

thats the sir rear lip..my buddy bought the lip and the sir interior(which is so ******* hard to find nowadays) for less than 500, but that was back then when JDM wasn't so hott. The us market has these for coupes. its the oem rear lip.

It's not the SiR rear lip. It did come on some EDM cars, including the SiR, but it's not the SiR lip anymore than the '99-'00 coupe/sedan lip kit is the "Si lip kit". These lips are not specific to one trim level.

The car in the photo you posted has the stock USDM 1998 Civic coupe rear lip. We also both have the stock 1998 USDM Civic coupe front lips (though he has an "SiR" front lip in the photo posted).

The lip in the link in the first post, if it does indeed fit a hatchback, is the EDM Sport rear lip. The front lip is the same as the USDM 1998 coupe front lip. The rear lip is the same too, but sized for a hatch rear bumper instead.

JaysEK4 that cant be a real one even though it says CTR. ctr rear lips didnt have the exhaust cut out. it went straight across.

only usdm coupes had the cut out. or the Sir

I catch myself staring at the pic in the link for a long time because it looks fake to me. But that's probably just me...
