Default b16's future?

what would work better on a jdm b16a second gen:

-JDM Bare Type R Cylinder Head w/ Cam Caps & Cam Rails
with->
* JDM Bare Type R Cylinder Head w/ Cam Caps & Cam Rails
* JDM Civic Type R Intake & Exhaust Camshafts
* JDM VTEC Solenoid
* Type R Lost Motion Assemblies
* Type R Rocker Arms, Misc Bolts, Seals Etc
* Type R Yellow Intake Inner & Outer Valve Springs & Retainers
* Type R Blue Exhaust Inner & Outer Valve Springs & Retainers
* Type R Lightweight Valves w/ Keepers
* Type R Red Valve Cover
$1950

=or=

turbo:
-greddy turbo + intercooler
-drag kit
*going with a kit because i dont want to hassle with making sure i have every thing. i was planing to make a turbo but i just dont know what is all needed (bolts,hoses,gaskets,etc....)

*i think the turbo would be the best(power) but there is a side that feels that have this b16 block with type r head(internals) would be more of an achievement then just slapping on a turbo. just thinking out loud. just wanted to see what you guys thought.

-thanks in advance

b16 with ITR internals or b16 turbo basically.

I vote for the turbo. More power and no need to get into the internals.

The price for that head is quite a bit high. $1100 would be far more reasonable.

Turbo will make more power.

Why are you limiting yourself to only those turbo setups? Unless you have to pass both emissions and inspection, you dont need to worry about getting a CARB legal setup. For the same price as either the Drag or Greddy turbo kits, you can build something yourself that is more tailored towards what you want/need out of your car.

will i was building a turbo through the http://www.rcautoworks.com/index.php this what i was looking at:
- mini ram kit, 2.5 downpipe= $780 (love the ram horn look but to high$)
- tial 38mm waste gate= $215+25(red)-(heard tial was the best/everyone is using them)
- tial BOV= $215-(was going to go with a greddy BOV/ i dont knot the best BOV?)
- turbo oil line kit= $85
- intercooler= $200-(dont know the best intercooler + i need it to fit a 95 integra?)
- intercooler piping= $200 (same with above?)
- t-bolt clamps= $30
- garrett t3/t4 50 trim= $660-(i dont what is the best turbo to work on a b16 because of the high compression?)

*i dont know what else i need or where to get them? does anyone have a complete list of turbo parts? the nuts, bolts, vaccum hoses, silicon hoses,.....etc?
*i would really like some help with this please
*another key thing and the most important thing is the turbo which turbo would work the best for a b16 because of the high compression on a stock block?

either of them will work...the 50 would be better on your stock block. Also, invest in a 3" dp and exhaust...

You can pick up vacuum hoses from your local parts store ( autozone )

its simple..

do you want a lot of power? go turbo

do you want throttle response/acceleration? go N/A.

i dunno why people always ask what should i do, turbo or N/A.. do your research and make up ur own mind; noone else is driving it but you.

acceleration would be greater with a turbo motor as well.

RELIABILITY would be 50 billion times better with a well put together OEM part supplied NA setup.

The OP seems to have allready made up his mind to go turbo. If you're itching for just POWER and SPEED, turbo is the obvious choice. An NA setup on a B16 with the same power as a turbo setup would be very undriveable..and very unreliable. You'd have to build a race motor...and even then, you can make more power with a turbo.

Power and speed isn't everything to some people (me). I'd rather have OEM or very very close to OEM reliability, longevity, and the flexibility to do other things than drag race.
