Default vtec solenoid wires?

I need help I don’t know why my vtec solenoid black ground wire keep sparking when I start up the car. All I did was just put the ground wire on one of the 10mm bolt by the vtec solenoid. What cause it to spark and why is it sometime I could start up my car and sometime cant? What could the problem be and how should I ground that black wire if I was to change it location?

Location is fine. your problem is deff something else in the wiring. Have you got other ground wires on your motor? just a seg.

I've had the same problem on my Mini-Me, make sure the wire is only touching the place where you are grounding, if it is touching any other metal it will spark and weld itself to that metal, I did this on my car and blew my solenoid. Good Luck
