Default Suspension Problem Please Help???

I have a 1990 Dx lowered on Tokiko illumina struts and springs. It seems as if the left rear sits lower that the other wheels. I thought it was the strut before i changed the suspension but it didn't do nething. What could it be?? Has anyone had this problem?? How might I be able to fix it???

Take lower control arms off and put them side by side see if there the same. You might also want to check the sway bar. Maybe the car was in an accident before or something.

Your suspension may not have completely settled yet, although if it's the same, I'd guess someone curbed the rear side that's happening on and fucked it up.

That, or maybe something else is bent up badly.

How was your alignment originally? Adjustable within spec I take it?

Yes the alignment was adjustable within spec. I just had the car aligned and th camber adjusted fine. The rear was previously curbed before i bought the and i think i made it worse a week or 2 ago. My question is where do i go from here. check the LCA's??

Hahahah Eksi..Whaddup bro!

Maybe the one spring settled more then the other? i know you put em in fairly recently. Other then that maybe a bushing could be binding or shredded so much its just metal to metal but i doubt that would make it that uneven.

Find me this weekend, I also have a bunch of parts from that hatch I stripped, if u need anything.

I just ordered the skunk2 LCA's and all new Energy susp bushings. I'll prob have everything out next week and start chekcing if anything is bent. There's only 2 arms that hold the trailing arms so its either those or the trailing arms themselves. I'll prob start another thread with pictures of the install.

Start pulling stuff apart its hard for people to guess what it could be. Get to work its the only way to find out. I know what its like when somethings not right on your car and you want it fixed right away. Take your time.

So the only one rear corner is out but the front is exactly the same on both sides? If you tilt one corner of a box down, the opposite corner is going to raise, so if the opposite corner is not a touch up, you are working with body manufacturing tolerances.

I can tell you this, I have yet to measure a new car off the show room floor that is perfect all the way around, and had you taken measurements before, you would have likely seen differences to start out with.

Tyson said it best..
