after 15 minutes my factory crx si will idle roughly at red lights, and rarely it will die. and most recently after about 30 mins of driving a check engine light will appear and i will get a loss of power and makes it extremely hard to get the car over around 4k rpm. anybody know what this could b? maybe a vacuum line?

 

you need to find out what the cel is for. do you know how to check it?

 

I had the loss of power and mine wanted to sputter and die around 4K (no tach so I'm estimating) but when I up shifted I was OK till I hit about 4K again. What my problem was, is that my main rely was bad. I resodered it and haven't had the problem since. I don't know if that's your problem but just thought I'd share..... Sorry I cant help more. If you know anyone with the same main relay try switching them and see if fixes it. Or just get one from the junk yard but they are kinda a hard find around here.

the official problem was my rotor and bearing went out inside the dizzy
