Temperature sensor plug broke at wires any ideas?
The wires finally gave out. There is no lenght to sodier back together. There are two wires one red one green. My question is has anyone made a set up to work instead of oem. I cant locate a harness to remove the plug from.
solder an additional length of wire to the existing wires, extending them as long as necessary. then connect to the sensor. solder them to the sensor connections if necessary.
you could go to the junkyard and get a new plug by cutting it off an engine harness. (leave enough length)

okay so the "pins" are broken off inside the plug?
you can go to the junkyard and cut this length of wire and plug off of most any honda or acura motor, and solder it to your existing wire harness.
If you need the car to work right now, just find a way to complete the connections to the sensor. for example, extra wire, solder.
Is the connection 2 large round male prongs or is it two smaller pins inside a recessed cavity????
