Default Just installed remote start, and no heat, 88 crx

When i use the remote start it does not start the heater until i put the key in and turn it over, do i need some type of relay of some sort. Also when hooking the wires to the door jam sensors are the sensors negative or positive?

Any help is well appreciated, thanks

You've tagged the wrong accessory wire in the ignition harness.

Make & Model of remote start please, and which wire did you tap into as the "accessory" wire in the ign harness?

door triggers are negative trigger...........you need to hook up the other accessory wire or you can relay the 1st accessory to the 2nd accessory.....

does your car have 2 accessory wires or only 1? also from your remote start side does it bring 2 ignition wires as well?

The wiring information I have says to use the yellow wire in the Ign harness so the heater blower will turn on.

If your alarm has 2 accessory wires, the 1st accessory would go to the Yellow wire. On your car, you really don't need the 2nd accessory, so you could depin the wire or cut it & cap it.

these guys above you have a diagram saying to hook it to the yellow... Can you explain why i should hook it to the blue/white...

Nevermind i see, I have two acc wires, hook one to the yello and the other to the blue/white.... correct?

Or if i wanted i could hook one accessory wire to the heater and the other to the radio, or to the radio and rear defrost, or the rear defrost and heater.. etc... etc....

the wire you need to activate is not getting power until you put the key in the ignition so your obviously tagged into the wrong wire. hook to the thick yellow (ACC or 2nd ACC wire) and your heater should work while under the power of the remote start. you can hook to the other wire (white/red) if you like but you're not going to be listening to the radio if you're not in the car...so there's really no point.

On your 90 Integra, did you connect ign. 2, [blue/white]? can be connected as acc. 2, as it is not needed for engine to run.
In your 91 Civic there is an acc. 1, [yellow] and an acc. 2, [blue/white], just like the 88 CRX. 94

Use both, your remote start should have a "5th relay" that can be used as a 2nd ign., 2nd starter, or 2nd. acc., program it for 2nd acc.

What is the make and model of your remote start? 94

Use the ign.2 lead, [pink] as your 2nd acc. lead. 94
