i know you s2k guys are gunna hate me but i am doing an 88 hatch and was thinking about going rear wheel drive with an s2k drive line. i got a buddy that has almost a full driveline that i might buy for very cheap. but he does not have a motor nor can i find one on the cheaper side of about 1800 bucks. so i was wondering if anyone knows if the f20b twin cam can be bolted fight up to the s2k tranny since it is an f series motor? since i have a fab shop and time to waste on the side i thought it would b a fun project, maybe even make it a drifter?

 

that would be awesome i got a f20b block sitting in the shop right now and got a ap1 in the shop as well too bad u cant just eyeball them hahahahahaha... buy im pretty sure the s2k motors are more like the Kseries sisters then anything else.. anyways keep updated see how this turns out...

there was one for about that much that i saw on ebay. not sure of the condition it was in though.

 

that would be a sick project, im from the west valley kepp me up to date im interested on the outcome

both F's yes... will it work .. NO... the F20/22C's are more like their sister K series then the F22a/b

Not directly. IIRC, there was a a kit to mount a K-Series tranny to an F20C/F22C but it never went into full production.

been done in japan already...

INline is working on a production now....
