Why is everyone so rude? How about this?

sell the seats seperately.
Now, was that so hard? Wait let me chastise the new person for his "ignorance."
Besides, the reason most people ask that is to get an idea of a price an enthusiast is willing to pay. Generally more than the public at large. New car excitement you know.

well, i've been here for a while. thinking about selling my hatch for something with more power out of the box like a Evo 8 or the Sti WRX. I know how much you hate "newbie" asking ignorant questions. But ask yourself this, have you not ask a dumb questions in your life? If you all have to be so rude for a simple question like mine. Don't reply. I'm just asking people for a simple answer. If I can't ask how much my car is worth to any of your "so-call" honda car enthusiasts. Then you shouldn't be replying to any questions being asked.
Does the Kelly Blue Book tells you how much my car is worth with the parts I have? I doubt it.
To those who answer my question, thanks. To those who think "newbie" is some people who knows nothing. Think about yourself when you start in this import scene and how much questions you ask people in order for you to mature and grow into who you are now. Wait, mature is not the right word for most of you here. If you keep doing this to "newbies". I doubt that anyone would want to come here.

i agree with kinghatchie. compare it with the blue book value, with the add-ons you've already put in. pre-owned ek's in CA cost around 7k, with a good mileage, excellent condition etc, so it all could differ in your area as well.
i know there's gonna be a mommy's boy out there who'll take it from you for a reasonable price.

the "OG" honda-tech post-****** need to drink a warm cup.. answer the question or stfu and go post your O-T.net pics over there.. Oh wait, this time you couldn't post the gay "search for it" reply..
I also have a '96 hatch and via nadaguides.com, a resource that many insurance companies use over the "noob" kbb and edmunds sites (look into it boys), my car was worth $59xx retail, $52xx private, so anywhere in there is a good price.. Try $6000 and see how that goes..
As for the rest of the parts, you're either just gonna have to eat by charging an extra $500, so pull it off and sell it.. Good luck!

Consumer Rated Condition: Good
"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. The paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. In states where rust is a problem, this should be very minimal, and a deduction should be made to correct it. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A clean title history is assumed. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail; however major reconditioning should be deducted from the value. Most recent model cars owned by consumers fall into this category.
Private Party Value $5,055
Private Party value represents what you might expect to pay for a used car when purchasing from a private party. It may also represent the value you might expect to receive when selling your own used car to another private party.
