I noticed in the Exhaust Poll thread currently in this forum guys were talking about and recommending the Hytech Exhaust for a FG2.

I have never seen a Hytech exhaust, only there header for FG's and other K-series, and B-series applications, and I could not find any more info on it on HT or on 8thcivic.

Just looking for some pics and some information on the exhaust.

Piping Diameter?
Catback?
Availability?
Cost?

I figured since about 1/2 a dozen guys mentioned it in their posts and about 20 people voted for it in the Exhaust Poll thread here in this forum someone could answer my questions.

Like I said i searched and nothing, not on there website and no info on 8thcivic or here on HT, other than what I have seen in the Exhaust Poll thread.

^^This is a link to sound clips of integra exhausts. They have Hytech and Stock and loud systems to compare. I know it's not our cars, but it might help determine how loud the exhaust is. Same style as the one for our cars, twin loop.

I couldn't get this pic of the muffler to come up. Search google images for pictures. regular google for info.

thanks for the info man. I was just surprised to see the majority of people recommending Hytech Exhaust which I have never even seen.

Does anyone have one on an 8thgen?

Is there an application currently available?

 

yup 06+ civic si, it's in hytech's price list on their site. At $850 it isn't cheap either

read about John from hytech on HT and k20a.org, search on google too. He knows exhausts like no one else. He's been serious about the k20 for some time now too. On RSX-tuners.com he sells his exhausts and other hard parts (cams, etc.)

Hmm, I imagine it must be built to order or something, cause I haven't heard of anyone or seen anyone with it.
