well if you are burning rice you will want to use stainless less work on clean up j/k just buy one made for your car will be better and less time i would go with a virbant muffler if you do make you own sounds good

2.5" will not provide enough back pressure for you.
go with 1.5" sch 10 or 40 it will be rock solid

im thinking the 1.5" sch 10 or maybe 1.5" 16ga, backpresure will be spot on and the a/f ratio will be perfect.

Don't forget to add a Q pipe, they are usually good for about 25hp

Yeah, do dual 1.5" pipes, you know how your exhaust downpipe has 2 pipes that go to 1. Just cut it so you can have dual pipes all the way back into 2 mufflers. **** will sound ******* hot. Plus youll have like 40 more hp if you do it that way.

I think you should go with the half Alu, half stainless zorst. You've got the light weight Alu and the bling bling stainless all in one.

Make sure you use dissimilar wire though!

The only reason you want dual exhaust is to win a rice show, or if you seriously have space restrctions. For NA, you don't need anything beyond 2.25", let alone dual 2.5". A 2" pipe is more than enough for a modified 1.8L Honda motor. You need to maintain some backpressure with an NA motor, especially if it has lots of lift/overlap like a DOHC VTEC motor has. Otherwise through most of the RPM range you'll end up with fresh intake air + fuel flowing right through the cylinder into the exhaust. That air could have been used for a handful of whp, meaning excessive NA exhaust size isn't always best.

Turbo cars need larger exhausts because the turbo & manifold create more than enough backpressure than is needed, and the lower you can get the pressure in a turbo vehicle's post-turbo exhaust, the better.

Forget the O pipe, you dont need it on duals. Do a titanium muffler with the flame tip and aluminum piping for the rest, **** will be the cats meow.
