Hey guys, im workin on a 92 dx, the car doesnt run, And when i got the car it had no spark, so i put a brand new dizzy in it, and still nothing, then i noticed the fuel pump isnt going, and i am not getting any injector pulses, could i have a bad computer? The cars wiring seems fine, i heard somewhere on here that if the computer isnt getting a reading the check engine light will always stay on durning cranking but im not sure about that? What else could i be missing.. i also checked every fuse in the car thinking maybe it was something simple, but nope..

Sound like a ECU problem. Try finding a friend with any 92-95 non v-tec and try theres. If it starts you found your problem

i have a 93 ex, could i put the po6 computer in my car just to see if it runs even tho i have a p28? i dont want to try my p28 in the dx incase it fries it

 

If your cel has stayed on, have you tryd checking it? Sound like a ground issues, or relay

 

hey you might want to make sure your ground is going strait to the unibody from the battery... that is what it sounds like to me...

 

the grounds are good, i checked all the simple stuff, i just bought a p06 so im gonna try that when it comes, i know some people have gotten bad dizzyz but i have no injector pulses, and no fuel pump, i saw similar threads on here before about this but i hope my ecu will be the trick

 

i got the factory honda manual and i tried everything in it, anybody know what else it could be?

 

if you put the key in the second position and the cel does not turn off the car will not start. change the ecu
