Default Cusco 4pt cage

It's actually more of a roll bar, I suppose. Either way, I'm looking to buy one, and was curious as to what you guys think of them. I don't really race my car, perse, so the 5pt isn't for me, but I am interested in some added rollover protection in the event of the unthinkable, and I also think that the blue would look good combined with the seats that I'm looking to buy.

Lemme know whatcha think!

well there will be someone here that iwll state that its not safe/legal etc.
i had the Safety21 4pt with harness bar on mine same as the cusco/spoon (which was then sold to the Zackster) you will feel a improvement in handling.. chassis will be stiffer and felt more stable in and out of turns...
i feel that it would do its job in protecting those in the cockpit of our fighter jet on wheels.

Its main benefit for me was the use of a bucket seat and 4point harness for more comfortability and being snug as a bug. Without my 4point harness when I totaled my car, I would have been thrown around in my seat and probably would have sustained some pretty bad neck/back injuries.

The downside to this, is it restricts seat movement. I was pushed more up front and it wasn't exactly DD friendly, but not terrible. If I get another S, I will be going with a Hard Dog roll bar because it bolts to the rear shelf.

I lost about a inch of seat travel with my cusco 5pt. I am 5'11" and still fit fine, I just sit more upright.

i love my Spoon one!i cant move my seat all the way back but the position it sits right now is perfect IMO. i can heal and toe with my 13s just fine. im 6'00" 180lbs and in my spoon seat i sit low enough that my legs dont hit the bottom of the wheel with the loss in leg room from the cage. In other words...have a bucket.
