Put a 92 Civic Engine in CRX HF NO Start
The car cranks but no spark to the plugs i have checked and trial and errored it but still no fire. I put a civic 92 dx engine in a crx hf 91 and did not change anything other than the engine. the computer lihgt just stays on and it won't turnover if anyone has the knowldge or know how to lead me in the right direction that would be great. if your using the stock hf dizzy you might have put it on backwards. if you look at the shaft on it theres a right and wrong way to put it on its off set.

Check ALL of the ignition components. But mostly the distributor.

what ecu are you using?
if your using a pm6 or pm8 with an obd1 distributor then rewire it to this...
OBD0 OBD1
orange) (orange
white) (white
orange/blue) (orange/blue
white/blue) (white/blue
blue/green) (blue/green
blue/yellow) (blue/yellow
large white) (yellow/green <only color that is different
black/yellow) (black/yellow
blue) (blue
try it like this, and if it only runs for about a second, disconnect the orange wires for tdc, it will run but the motor wont rev over 3200 without converting to obd1, if you are using a pm6 or pm8 ecu with an obd1 distributor.

i think it is a pm6 not sure how to tell. it is the orginal from a hond crx 91i will try this itried other dizzys from accord and same thing. I also noticed that there is no blinking led on the ecu and the check engine always stays on.
