Default Car fogging up

Is it just me, or do like...your cars fog up like crazy at night or in cold weather?!
When I actually thought about it, most honda cars fog up insanely.

Why do hondas fog up more than others like...nissans?

in b4 it gets locked .... he has a point tho .... check in side your boot where the spare tyre is and check or aircon filter ... my TEg leaks good which causes mine to fog up

You most likely have a water leak with standing water in your car.

Why would this get locked?

And before you ask, antifreeze will not cause your windows to fog up. So it's not coolant in your car.

wouldn't it be the same thing as in the bathroom? the warm moisture air, against the cold glass mirror? unless you have the fan in the ceiling on. same as in the car. wouldn't the heat from you breathing, and body heat cause the window to fog up?

Breathing can fog the windows. Just turn on the defrost to keep the glass clear with outside air. I don't think this is the OP's problem.

Standing water that is warmer than the windows will also cause condensation. This typically happens at night because the temperature drops and the glass cools first.

If this doesn't work, I would open a window just a crack.

geez what are you guys talking about...I wasn't talking about INSIDE the car...haha. First informost, it's not a problem at all; I just find it peculiar. That most honda cars, fog up OUTSIDE like mad...I mean it's misty all over the body, and misty all over the windows.

While in comparison, a bunch of my friends' nissan cars, do not fog up much at all.

P.S. this was a random observation made as me and a bunch of friends hung out and when we came back to our cars, all the hondas were misty all over and the nissans sat there dry.

Pretty sure it has nothing to do with Hondas specifically, but just an act of nature when the temperature drops below the dew point outside. Not sure why a Nissan wouldn't get frost or dew on it when a Honda would. Pretty much any car around here that I see outside in the morning is all frosty.

Good thing my car stays in a garage.

I agree with what he said, I just keep my windows cracked about 2/3 of an inch. and it solves the problem. If that doesnt work, you gotta have a weather leak. somwhere..

Read the entire thread before you post. He just re-stated that he was talking about outside the car.

OP: Outside fog has nothing to do with car type.

lmao, that's totally a great quote.
Yeah I suppose it has nothing to do with honda specifically, just pretty funny in my eyes though.

Thanks for all your opinions!
