I dont know if you want my input or not, but this is it.
I have the same thing on my dirtbike, made by FMF, they have two versions. A megabomb and a powerbomb. I have a powerbomb which looks identical to that header. It allows the exhaust gases to cool and move out faster, gives the torque of a long header and over rev of a short one. This is all dirtbike related, but the design is identical and i love it. it is a very efficient and works great, gives both low end and top end. If it works anything like that for a car, i would def. get one!! There is my 2 cents.

We ran one on our 86mm X 89mm 'Big B' setup. Made 262whp.

The header helped. We picked up a few HP at the wheels with just the header. But again we were at 16.5:1 compression on nothing but race fuel.

Engine was blown up on the dyno by the tuner or was improperly built by the build (we were too scared to build it ourselves). Only made 3 untuned run of a best 12.3 granny shifting on a GSR tranny.

I'm an all motor guy and I can tell you a GOOD header can add significant gains on a built engine.

my last setup was 16:8:1 with Wiseco Super Duper Ultimate IB SPEC pistons i love that motor, lasted 2 years and about 50+ passes!with a 7.49 1/8 mi on 240, Fn great motor, but now i dropped down to the 14 comp. im on F&L SP3 fuel and the motor feels way stronger than the 16 comp. and also made more power!, todd @ church said he would recommend the large tube hytech for my setup cause the bisi header is choking the top end after 9300 so i should see some better mid range and way better top end power with these. just need to get my *** over to Irvine to pick them up,

thanks for the info guys!

Hytech headers hang very low in EF's.
SMSP makes a big tube header that has better ground clearance and still makes good power.
It might be something to consider.
Good luck with your build.

I am shocked that Todd would make such a horrible biased claim without data...after all our units are custom made to a customer's build, and my dissatisfaction with Hytech header designs (especially the $1500 ones) forced me into the header scene.

It is too bad that people do not understand the science behind our designs. Then again, it is human nature to fear what one does not understand.

Why does everyone make the headers hang so low? looks like theres so much room to tuck it up

That can on the bike is for sound only. Its to quiet it down and thats it.Also when exhaust cools it slows down ,Not speeds up.

I stand firmly behind my opinion that Bisi headers are the best on the planet for honda B series and D series. Bar NONE.

Hytech was not Larry's first choice for the engine he built for Honda Tuning. He only used that because of a personal beef with another header builder.

Dave @ SMSP built a custom big tube 4-1 for my D16. Untuned on a stock engine (header is way too big for a stock engine), I got 3 tenths off my 1/4 and picked up 4mph.
