piaa 1400 series
im looking at installing a set of piaa 1400 fog lights on my 08 civic. i couldnt find anywhere that sells the silver housing ones.
also, is there enough space on the front bumper to install it? seems like its not so deep. i dont want to install it where the stock fog lights are supposed to go.

ok, i checked the front bumper and there is not enough space on the upper or lower part of the bumper to install the piaa 1400 platinum series foglight without cutting the lower grill (or whatever its called). i was thinking of installing it on the foglight cut-outs since the lower part has a flat surface and i can run the wires thru the cover. anyone has any pics of how this would look?
i have thought abt installing a pair of oem foglights, but i need something that can aim to the ground since the headlight doesnt seem bright enough to shine on the road.
any inputs?

If you want focused light on the ground, projector based fogs and driving lights would be your best bet, I think. They disperse evenly and you can adjust their cutoff level.
Hella Optilux and Blazer brand fog projectors are the best from what i've read.
hidplanet.com has good foglight discussions.
